Meet Anna, our massage therapist at Flow Therapies!
Anna Narvid, CMT
Anna Narvid is a California State Certified Medical Massage Therapist, specializing in injuries, accidents, pathologies, and pain management. She offers a holistic approach that integrates the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual components of dis-ease. Anna also holds a basic chef’s license and received certification in Plant Based Nutrition so that she can help her clients address lifestyle choices that may be unduly causing inflammation, fatigue, digestive issues, brain fog, emotional instability, and more.
Anna got her start in the world of bodywork by receiving Reiki treatment during a challenging time in her life. The experience proved to be such a supportive tool that Anna, herself, trained and became a Usui Reiki practitioner. Wanting to further explore the multitudinous modalities in the field, Anna attended the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing in Culver City, CA and completed her studies at The National Holistic Institute in Studio City, CA. Anna chose these educational programs specifically for the integrative approach that combines both Eastern and Western philosophy and technique.
Anna has worked in a variety of settings that allowed her to gain first-hand experience with a wide array of bodies and personalities. Her interest in easing people’s pain led her to further train with The Heart Touch Project, a non-profit organization that provides gentle, soothing touch to individuals in hospice care. Pain is not limited to just physical sensation, but can envelop a person on an emotional, psychological, and even spiritual level. Anna’s curiosity around people’s whole body experience compelled her to study Somatic (Body) Psychology at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.
In 2020, Anna moved to the Bay Area where she joyfully joined the team at Flow Therapies in Sausalito, CA. Here, Anna offers compassionate, therapeutic bodywork designed specifically to meet the unique needs of her diverse clientele.
